Data Object Specifications
If you are editing an existing data object or adding a new data object, as described in Editing or Defining Data Objects for Images, APPX presents a number of specification screens that establish various operational and display attributes, as well as data lookup definitions.
The item screen contains specifications that relate to the appearance of a data dictionary field on an image. Such specifications are described in the Image Item Specifications section in Using the Image Editor. The GUI Attributes option on the Item Specifications overlay contains fields that vary depending on the type of field (alphanumeric, numeric, date, or logic) and on the type of process. These fields are used to define graphical attributes such as widgets, font characteristics, and colors. For details, see the Defining Graphical Attributes for Image Fields section.
